Apply for a Travel Bursary to DojoCon 2018!

DojoCon is the annual global CoderDojo conference specifically tailored for adult volunteers involved in Dojos worldwide. This flagship community event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other generous, experienced and like minded people who play an instrumental part in the CoderDojo movement. This years community conference is set in the beautiful city of Kilkenny, Ireland and will take place from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st of October 2018.

What can you expect?

On Friday an opening ceremony will be held in the upstairs function room of our City’s award winning Left Bank bar, located across from Kilkenny Castle. This event will have a number of keynote speakers opening the conference, and will be followed by a celebration with canapés and refreshments.

Saturday the 20th will see seven 45 min workshop slots running with titles such as “Code It”, “Create It, and “Cozy Up To It” across Newpark Hotel’s main conference areas. Enabling attendees to pick and choose the most relevant talks, and activities to participate in for their needs. Sunday will see local ninjas gather for a Hackathon! but can’t afford to make the trip?

We are opening a travel bursary for adult members of the CoderDojo community!

 

Bursary applications are open for a limited time only. Bursaries are designed to help adult CoderDojo Community Members with the cost of flights and accommodation for CoderDojo volunteers to travel to Kilkenny, Ireland for DojoCon 2018 but will not cover the full costs of travelling due to limited budget. Apply before the 4th of July 2018 below!
