CoderDojo program preps kids for technology careers

Hartnell College has teamed up to offer Saturday classes to help young kids on coding. It’s part of a global movement called CoderDojo, which teaches kids this important skill as well as develop websites, apps, programs games and explore with technology.
”In the future I want to pursue a technological career so this is helping me reach that goal,” student Marco Pizarro, 13, said.
With Silicon Valley close to the Central Coast, program organizers said this is getting kids on the right track to success.
