Once again CoderDojo Foundation team joined the CoderDojo community to celebrate the Europe Code Week initiative by participating in events to teach and share digital skills with young people all across Europe. Celebrating Code Week with 4th Annual EU Dojo

On October 18th, the fourth annual #EUDojo event was held in the in the EU Parliament in Brussels. CoderDojo, who were recently awarded a European Citizen’s Prize, hosted the event along with Seán Kelly MEP.  Eighty Volunteers, youths and parents from across Europe were invited to participate in the event. Launching The Future Makers Awards at EUDojo

Today, at our 4th annual EUDojo held in the European Parliament in Brussels, CoderDojo along with Liberty Global launched The Future Makers Awards! It celebrates digital solutions to society’s most pressing challenges. From today, the 18th of October until the 1st of December, young people aged 10-17 years old across Europe and beyond are invited to use their coding superpowers to create a positive impact in society. Coding kids share their digital skills with MEPs

 14th October 2015 SPECIAL REPORT / Dozens of children from around the continent came to the European Parliament on 30 September to help MEPs brush up their digital skills. For the third time, Irish MEP Sean Kelly (European People’s Party) invited the young coders to the annual event in Parliament. Rallied together by the organisation Coder Dojo, the children taught MEPs how to code, build a basic website and use other digital programmes. EU Parliament hosts #EUDojo15 to celebrate EU Code Week!

On September 30th, the third annual #EUDojo event hosted by CoderDojo and Seán Kelly MEP took place in the EU Parliament in Brussels. Over 60 CoderDojo Youths,  Mentors, Champions and Parents from across the EU were invited to participate.  The young coders from countries including Ireland, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Italy and the UK were welcomed to Brussels to showcase their coding and technology skills and to teach some MEPs how to write a few lines of code.
