Are you ready for the next Content Hackathon?

A few months ago we ran our first Content Hackathon, focused on translating our materials from English into other languages. It was a 24 hour effort and involved CoderDojo Community members from all over the world. In general, it was a great success, with a few opportunities for us to learn and improve on it. You can read more about what we produced and what we learned in my earlier blog post on the subject.

The next Content Hackathon will be taking place on Saturday the 2nd of December and will include the same translation goals as well as an attempt to do a bit more content creation. As we’re focusing on volunteering efforts this week, I thought I’d start asking you to sign up for it. Based on what we learned last time, I think we’ll be trying to organise a more self-running system, rather than running things through me, with project leads from the community assigning tasks etc. I’m putting together some tools to help with that, but in the meantime I’m just trying to collect a list of people who are interested in getting involved.

So, if you’d be interested in helping out, assuming you’re free, please sign up with your email address in this form. Thank you, and I’ll be in touch!
