Launching the CoderDojo Coolest Project Showcase 2017!

Today, CoderDojo Coolest Projects announced its 6th annual showcase will take place in the RDS, Dublin on Saturday 17th June 2017 – it promises to be another hit and already it’s looking bigger and better than ever before with over 15,000 people expected to attend.

The CoderDojo Coolest Projects Showcase offers young people from the international CoderDojo Community the opportunity to present the projects they have created at their local Dojo. It is both a competition and exhibition to showcase, inspire and enable innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship and technology skills in youth innovators aged 7 – 17.

2017 sees CoderDojo Coolest Projects grow to a global initiative with CoderDojo Ninjas from all over the world descending upon the RDS, Dublin on Saturday 17th June 2017 to present their apps, websites, games and hardware projects. We will have over 1,000+ Ninjas from 17 countries, including Argentina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Japan, United States, and Australia, exhibit their projects at the CoderDojo Coolest Projects Showcase 2017!

Themes for 2017 include:

Smart City: This hall will be a fun educational and interactive space for young people and adults interested in how technology will continue to shape our futures.

STEAM Experience: Collectively science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics, otherwise known as STEAM powers the world we live in today. We will take you on a journey of exploration through interactive exhibits, workshops and engaging shows and speakers.

Games Arena: A fun, educational and interactive arena for young people and adults interested in the video games industry. The idea of this space is to give the participants an insight to the many aspects of the gaming industry and to inspire them to not just be a player but a video game creator!
