Hi all,
With our ever growing community of over 250 dojos in 31 countries we realized the need to stay connected. With this we’d like to announce CoderDojo community calls!
To start we will have calls alternating between 9pm GMT & EST and Tuesday / Thursday nights to accommodate most people’s schedules. We will look at adding other time zones as needs be in the future.

Many dojos have questions as before starting, while looking to expand and how to keep things running. Here are the essential questions broken down into topics we’d like to disquss:

  • Dojo Administration
  • PR, marketing & Branding Best Practices
  • Curriculum & Teaching
  • Mentor Recruitment & Retention
  • Funding & Scaling
  • Awards and Recognition
We encourage people to ask questions beforehand in the CoderDojo Organizer’s group, via email to [email protected] and continue discussion via Twitter. We would ask that you  use the hashtag ‘#dojochat’ across all social media. The calls will be moderated to insure that everyone gets a word in, and that concerns are addressed and move into action.
All events will be shared on this calendar at least 3 weeks in advance and the event will be updated on the day of the event with access details.
This is the next step in a creating a global and connected CoderDojo community and we are excited to have you all join us!

Do I need to be in the specific timezone to participate in a call?
No, you can participate in whichever call is most convenient for you. Calls will have the same agenda/topic for the week so you can drop into either without missing anything.

Will calls be recorded?
