CoderDojo Coolest Projects Awards – Saturday the 31st of August

Organiser Noel King has really pulled out all the stops to make this an amazing event. We have seen a sneak preview of the kick ass prizes, and super-cool exhibitions being put on by several large companies. Node copters anyone?

This award ceremony was created for you the members to celebrate the great projects you have been developing at CoderDojo while also sharing your innovative and cool creations with CoderDojo’s nationally.  There is a chance to win one of 14 prizes and everyone receives a CoderDojo Belt as our recognition for expanding their learning through projects. .A really fun and exciting day is lined up with great prizes, cool tech demos and some surprises too.

Every project a CoderDojo member has developed is welcome from their first website all the way to up to advanced programming concepts.  It does not matter if the project was previously presented in another competition, so get involved, celebrate and share your great work.  The projects will be spilt into categories such as Website, Apps etc.  Its all about celebration and this event was setup to encourage and reward the CoderDojo members.

The event is being held in Dublin City University on Saturday the 31st of August from 1-5 and we would be delighted for you all to be there.  If you have been building a project or have a project idea you would like to demonstrate you can register at http://coolestprojects.org and htttp://coolestprojects.eventbrite.com . This event is open to all levels from Scratch to Advanced Languages so get involved, come celebrate CoderDojo and meet other dojo members from around the Country..  So if you are interested please register your great project.
