Kinsale Arts Festival Dojo

“Kinsale Arts Festival was the venue for the latest ‘seaside summer dojo’ in Ireland this week. Over 60 youngsters, mostly under 13, began from scratch (no pun intended) and spent a hugley enjoyable 4 hours getting grounded in basic html.
Most of those present were on holidays from UK and around the country, and between them managed to launch 5 new websites, under the watchful eye of Liam Liao and his younger brother.
Its always tricky to know whether the parents are teaching the youngsters, or the other way around, but there were the usual calls for an ‘adult coder dojo’ in the room next door where co-founder Bill Liao was giving a talk on “how to start a movement”
Although Coder Dojo operates a maximum age policy of 18, that just means that super cool coders can transform into even cooler mentors !!”

So there you have it another successful Event Showcase CoderDojo.
