Hey there.   It’s been 3 months since I joined CoderDojo and I guess it’s time to introduce myself properly. My name is Conor and I’m the new Product Manager here at the CoderDojo Foundation. First of all I want to say, in the few months I’ve been here I’ve been stunned at the huge ambition and enthusiasm of it all. From Córdoba to Coolest Projects

In June, I returned to Dublin full-time after an extremely rewarding four months in Latin America where I was able to attend the opening of the first CoderDojo in Santiago, Chile, speak to over 500 girls and youth leaders about the CoderDojo movement and the CoderDojo Girls Initiative at Ingeniosas 2017, and of course work towards joining forces with the… Read More

We’ve also had several amazing interns work with us on various projects throughout the year and you’ve either seen or will see work from Ben, Justin, and Harvey appear as part of a CoderDojo Foundation content release on Kata. Our favourite content from 2017 It… Read More

Introducing Amy: Supporting the CoderDojo Community in 2018

24 December 2017 · by Nuala McHale

My name is Amy and I started my role at the CoderDojo Foundation at the end of November as the new Community Support and Experience Assistant. Previously, I had worked in education for many years as a Montessori Teacher and I had also recently completed a M.Des in Design Innovation. So while this was my first time working for an education-based not-for-profit organisation, I was immediately drawn to CoderDojo’s mission to bring learning opportunities to young people and have fun with technology using the ethos of inclusion, innovation and creativity. My role centres around supporting… Read More
