A simpler future for events in our community platform

Today we’re launching a simpler event ticketing system for Dojos worldwide. Those who use the CoderDojo platform regularly will now find it easier to create and manage events on it. Managing Dojo sessions is central to the CoderDojo community, which is why this has always been a key part of the community platform. Our Dojo starter packs are now available worldwide!

Following on from the success of our pilot programme in Ireland and the UK, Champions worldwide now have the opportunity to apply for the CoderDojo starter packs to help them kick-start their new Dojos!   Why should you apply? The packs act as a kit to get new Dojos off the ground and are full of helpful resources and information to guide Champions and Mentors through the early stages of running their Dojo. CoderDojo Foundation – Annual Report and Audit 2018

We are delighted to release our annual report and audit on the activities and success of the CoderDojo movement during 2018. It’s been another fantastic year for the Foundation and the global community that we support. In 2018 we celebrated 7 years of CoderDojo, supported Dojos in over 100 countries, launched in person training for youth workers and librarians, we conducted our most comprehensive survey of volunteers, continued making strides in increasing the proportion of girls involved in Dojo and grew our community team to better support the thousands of volunteers involved in Dojos around the world.
