CoderDojo will have a special Pop Up Dojo at the Electric Picnic music festival in Stradbally Estate, Co. Laois! The festival takes on Aug 29th – 31st. At our “Electric Picnic Pop Up Dojo”, located in Mindfield, we’ll be giving young people (aged 7 – 17) and their parents the opportunity to get a taste of it’s like to attend a CoderDojo. Coder Dojo and the US Embassy launch a competition to make games with an aim This is Not a Game, a video game challenge for students, launched at the Festival of Curiosity on 24 July. The goal is to use the fun and popularity of games to raise awareness of Marine issues like overfishing, ocean pollution and ocean acidification.
