CoderDojo Foundation Annual Report 2017

We are delighted to release our Annual Report on the activities and success of the CoderDojo movement during 2017. We celebrated 6 years of CoderDojo, supported Dojos in 92 countries, launched the Girls initiative with the goal of increasing the number of girls in the movement towards gender parity, we released our second book, and our global conference Dojocon was held outside of Ireland for the first time.  In May we joined forces with the Raspberry Pi Foundation to create one of the largest sustained, global efforts to help young people learn computing and digital making.

Overall, 2017 was a monumental year for the CoderDojo movement!

To positively impact the 160,000 young people who have been and are involved over the years we rely on the support of the volunteers, parents, young people and partners who power this ever growing movement. Thank you for your ongoing dedication to CoderDojo and our mission to give all young people the opportunity to learn to code. We look forward to continuing to support you and developing even more opportunities for young people to create with code.
