The FTTH Council Europe makes a donation to CoderDojo for the FTTH Conference 2016

We are very happy to be receiving a donation today, October 6th, from the Fibre to the Home Council of Europe (FTTH). This donation will help to implement our 2015/2016 strategy and will go towards further building the CoderDojo Community Platform and the creation of more CoderDojo content.

“We are very pleased to make a donation to CoderDojo, a great example of kids’ digital empowerment. It is only natural that the FTTH Council Europe, which promotes FTTH-enabled services and their positive impact on the quality of life of European citizens, supports such initiatives: children are our future, hence it is our responsibility to build the right environment for them to grow and develop”. – FTTH Council Europe’s president, Edgar Aker.

The FTTH Council Europe is an industry organisation with a mission to accelerate the availability of fibre-based, ultra-high-speed access networks to consumers and businesses. The Council promotes this technology because it will deliver a flow of new services that enhance the quality of life, contribute to a better environment and increase economic competitiveness. The FTTH Council Europe consists of more than 150 member companies.

The 13th edition of the FTTH Conference 2016 will be held in Luxembourg City on 16-18 February 2016.

A huge thank you to the FTTH Council of Europe from the CoderDojo community, we look forward to working with you in the future.
