The CoderDojo Foundation Strategy 2015/2016

CoderDojo’s vision is a world where every child has the opportunity to learn how to code and to be creative in a fun, safe and social environment.

CoderDojo has progressed from being an Irish originated concept to being a global movement. Dojos exist in every continent in the world and in 59 countries. Sustaining these existing Dojos and starting more Dojos, to reach even more kids and young people is at the core of the CoderDojo strategy for 2015 & 2016.

Sometimes to create magic, some hard work is required! The CoderDojo Foundation team has been busily working on delivering the strategy that we developed earlier this year. You’ll have seen some of the results of this already with new Sushi Cards, ECHO and Child Protection tools delivered through the Summer and the Community Platform due to be released soon. We thought we’d share the strategy document so that all of our community and supporters would be able to see some of our other plans for the rest of 2015 and going into 2016. We’ll talk people through the key plans during our upcoming community and committee calls to get more of your feedback and further input.
In the meantime if you have any questions about the strategy please do get in touch, we would be happy to talk to you about it.

Mary Moloney, Global CEO of the CoderDojo Foundation
