Competition: Who would like to win an mBot?! (Now Closed)

Make Bot

The lovely people at Makeblock have given us 9 blue mBots to give away to CoderDojo youth members of the community!

mBot is Makeblock’s first educational STEM robot for kids and beginners to learn programming and electronics. So, what makes mBot so special?

  1. Simple wiring and wizard-style design for kids and beginners

mBot is small and simple to assemble. Each mBot kit contains about 45 pieces in total, and can be assembled in about 10 minutes.

  1. Graphical programming inspired by Scratch 2.0

Makeblock provides makeBlock software for programming the mBot on a PC and the mBot App which you can use for controlling the mBot on portable devices like mobile phones and tablets. makeBlock is based on Scratch 2.0, which is useful for teaching kids programming because the free and open-source code can be shared and is compatible with other products like Lego.
