CoderDojo Erasmus+ Toolkit Survey
As part of the CoderDojo Erasmus+ project, The Nerve Centre in Derry/Londonderry is creating an International Toolkit to help support the growth of the movement around the European Union and beyond!
The CoderDojo International Toolkit will be a detailed set of recommendations, methodologies and guidelines covering all aspects of establishing and operating a CoderDojo Chapter. It will be produced in all of the main European languages and disseminated free of charge to all dojos and dojo start-ups. The toolkit will address all aspects of the set up and operation of a CoderDojo Chapter, covering matters from the type of facilitator, insurances required, premises, child safety issues, curriculum development guidelines, selection of mentors and assessments.
The Nerve Centre has developed a series of questionnaires in order to identify the needs of an International Toolkit. These questionnaires are aimed at existing and potential community members (champions, mentors, parents and ninjas). The responses received, will shape and inform the toolkit contents so that those who use it – current and potential community members – will benefit from the guidance and advice on offer.
