CoderDojo Exhibiting at SXSWedu 2015

CoderDojo are delighted to be a part of the Playground at this year’s South by Southwest Education Expo in Austin, Texas. The SXSWedu Playground features a wide variety of displays to showcase effective learning approaches with an emphasis on innovation through discovery-based learning. Here, the CoderDojo team will be able to engage with people attending the event and also will have the opportunity to exhibit what CoderDojo has to offer.

The Expo will take place over four days from 9th-12th March 2015 with a variety of different events happening each day.  In the Playground, the team will present current learning techniques developed by CoderDojo community members. We will also be sharing the stand with CoderDojo partners, Codestarter, to spread the word of both initiatives to attendees at the event.

Global CEO of the CoderDojo Foundation, Mary Moloney, will be in attendance along with team member, Pete O’Shea, who will both be happy to explain how young people, adults and businesses can start a new Dojo or support an existing Dojo in their area. Members of the Codestarter team will also be available to explain how you can support youths in underserved areas!
