Join the MATHletes 2015 challenge!
The MATHletes Challenge is a free, pioneering online and in-person maths tournament for all Irish students and schools. The 4-month Challenge (launching on January 5th) develops students’ confidence and competence in maths using Khan Academy – a global leading & free online learning platform that Dojos may know from their coding tutorials! Students and Schools from 4th class to 5th year (ROI) & Primary 6 to Year 13 (NI) are eligible. The competition culminates with top scorers advancing to in-person playoffs, where over €20,000 in prizes and the title of MATHletes Challenge All-Ireland Champion are on offer. Registration is FREE and now open!!
We would encourage CoderDojo students to enter the MATHletes challenge. The MATHletes Challenge provides the opportunity for CoderDojo youth to improve their mathematical skills (which is important when learning to code) by using the Khan Academy site!
