“It must be top of every Londoner’s life-improvement list: learn to code. We all now know that the foreign language of computers is the answer to all our problems. It could make us a billion dollars. It could open the door to a new career. Or, perhaps more likely, it could help us do our children’s homework. Five-year-olds already use our iPads more deftly than we do, but as of this month’s new term, coding is now on the curriculum and soon the kids will know how our devices actually work — on the inside.
