Want to provide your Dojo with fresh challenges for the new school year? With Autodesk®  your Dojo can branch out into the awesome world of 3D design, 3D printing and electronics!!

Benefits for your Dojo

Get ready for a new back to school mission to unleash your Ninjas’ curiosity, creativity and innovation. Autodesk® and the CoderDojo Foundation have launched a new partnership, aiming to empower young coders to design a better world. As an education software partner, Autodesk is providing all CoderDojo Ninjas and Champions and Mentors around the world with free* access to their powerful 3D design software as well as five fun and engaging design badge challenges.

The Design Badges

These exciting new design badge challenges are intended to encourage CoderDojo Ninjas to explore their creativity and discover their design talent using the Autodesk 3D design software. The badges will be awarded digitally via Credly and the limited-edition physical badges will be sent to individual Dojos. There are five digital design badges to collect:

Autodesk® Tinkercad badge

Get started with 3D design and learn how to build a house in Tinkercad. Ninjas will even learn how to import their design into Minecraft™.

Ninjas will learn how to generate and personalize Tinkercad objects using Javascript.

Ninjas will learn how to design like the professionals, using Autodesk® Inventor® software to create an object and incorporate mechanical engineering principles into the design.

Embracing the latest cloud-based design software that combines industrial and mechanical design, collaboration, and machining, Ninjas will learn to create tailor-made designs.

The Ultimate statement! Ninjas must earn at least one other badge and then choose to either get Autodesk User certified  in one Autodesk product  or present their designs to their school, class, CoderDojo, or afterschool club, to unlock the Autodesk Ninja badge and associated bragging rights!
