Our Awesome Funders: Introducing Polaris Partners

The Hello World Foundation is delighted to announce that Polaris Partners have come on board as our first corporate donor. Polaris Partners through their Dublin space Dogpatch Labs have been a firm supporter of CoderDojo since the early days, housing both James when he moved to Dublin and the Dublin Dojo for a period of time! Recently the Hello World Foundation moved into Dogpatch Labs and now the team calls it home!

Polaris partners was founded in 1996 and has more than $3.5billion in capital under management. With offices in Boston, San Francisco and Dublin, Polaris partners have a diverse portfolio investing in technology and healthcare companies throughout their lifecycle. They have an unparalleled network of repeat CEOs and entrepreneurs all positioned to make a significant impact in their fields and improve the way in which we all live and work.

‘’For years, we have been committed to supporting the technology community in meaningful ways and CoderDojo is an investment in our collective future,” said Dave Barrett, managing partner at Polaris Partners. “Imagine the entrepreneurial power of a new generation that can thrive technologically in the same manner that our generation did in areas such as athletics and the arts. We are supporting something very special here.”

With Polaris Partners investment in the Hello World Foundation, Noel Ruane Venture partner has also taken a position as a founding board member of the foundation. Last week James traveled to Boston to launch Polaris first Boston Dojo!
